An all-new F-3A pattern model designed by Youchiro Akiba.

Joe Walker got one of the prototypes a few weeks ago and shared these photos with us along with his testimony that "The ProLine is the best flying pattern plane he has owned or flown".

The quality is excellent and the paintwork is unmatched in the industry. The one-piece wing keeps it light and strong and the in-the-mold center hinging of the control surfaces is definitely superior to the surface hinging for a precision aerobatic machine.

Jerry Caudle describes his current flying skills as "average". He's logging a couple of flights each morning now with his Xtreme Composites OTOP with electric power (Neu 15152Y motor with a 6.7:1 gearbox - available from BVM Props) on 10S Lipo's and really likes this 11lb package.
Frequent flying with a pattern model will surely nudge the skill level to "above" average.

Tangerine Pattern Contest

Patrick Holowesko demonstrated his 3D skills with this BVM Props/Xtreme Composites 2x2 Edge 540 at a recent event in Lake Wales, Florida. Patrick started flying about a year ago, first on a simulator, then a foamie and now jets and props. He's a "natural" and just happens to be BV's grand nephew.

Stronger Wing Tubes for the 2.6

To our knowledge, there have been 2 occurrences of the wing tube bending during extreme maneuvering on the 2.6 Meter Edge 540.

Kits sold by BVM Props have a stronger tube as standard equipment. This thicker wall aluminum tube is available as a retrofit to owners of earlier manufactured Edges. If you push your Edge to the limits, we recommend this upgrade. Ask for part # PM-MA-0008 Price - $45.00 (plus freight)
