To strengthen glue joints.

These 1/32" long fiberglass fibers will add strength to an epoxy glue joint. Milled fiber also thickens the glue mix so it will stay where you put it.

A combination of some milled fiber with microballoons and resin will also yield a stronger fillet material.

Fiberglass preparation

Wipe it on a fiberglass fuselage or resin finished wing surface before primer, allow to dry to a haze, then wipe it off. When you spray on the first coat of primer, most of the fine pin size holes have been filled reducing your finishing efforts.
